Iran's soft tennis championships were held over 2 days at the Esteghlal club and Science and Industry University courts, hosted by the Tehran board's soft tennis committee, with 164 players from across the country in the men's and women's sections. Amirali Mohammadi won the men's singles title and Melina Zanjani took the women's crown, while Mohammadi and Mohammad Hossein Ghareghol finished first in doubles. Hossein Rafieian, head of Iran's soft tennis association, said at the closing ceremony that weekly events are planned to select the best players for Asian and world competitions.

Kimia Sagheb Tehrani and her Indian partner also advanced with a 6-1, 1-6, 10-7 win, while Mandegar Farzami lost her singles match 6-2, 6-1. Meshkatolzahra Safi, who had come through to the main draw, was still playing her match against a Tunisian opponent.

Sepehrad Khademizadeh took first place in both the boys' under 16 and under 18 singles.
The executive directors' meeting of the Asian Tennis Federation was held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with Sina Ebrahimian attending on behalf of Iran's tennis federation. Seyed Amir Borghei, development officer for West and Central Asia, also addressed the gathering. Topics included national tennis centres, the 2027 Asian calendar, officiating and the World Tennis Number, with Iran listed for the first time among countries that have successfully implemented the World Tennis Number project.
