Terms of use

Last updated: 1 October 2026

  1. 1.Acceptance

By creating an account or using Tennis Yar you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

  2. 2.Your account

    • You must be 13 or older; under 18, with a parent's permission.
    • Give accurate information and keep to one account per person.
    • You are responsible for keeping your password and account secure.

  3. 3.Behaving well

    • Treat other players with respect. Harassment, insults, threats and stalking are not allowed.
    • Do not record fake results or collude with anyone to raise a rating.
    • Do not send advertising or spam, or use the service for anything unlawful.

  4. 4.Results and ratings

Results are recorded and confirmed by the players themselves. The Tennis Yar rating is an estimate of playing level, not an official federation ranking. We may review, correct or remove a result we suspect is wrong or dishonest. The challenge and ladder rules are on the rules page.

  5. 5.Playing with others

Tennis Yar only connects you with other players; it does not check who they are or how they behave. Play at public courts and clubs and take care of yourself. Sport carries a risk of injury, and your fitness and safety are your own responsibility.

  6. 6.Clubs

The club console is currently free. Each club is responsible for the member, booking, price and payment data it enters, and for its relationship with its own members.

  7. 7.Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and text you post. By posting them you allow Tennis Yar to show them to other players within the service.

  8. 8.Suspension

If you break these terms we may restrict or suspend your account. You can also delete your account at any time.

  9. 9.Liability

Tennis Yar is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and correct but give no guarantee, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for losses arising from using the service or from playing with other people.

  10. 10.Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed. Questions? infotennisyar.com
